Toni Cornell sings “Nothing Compares 2 U” on TV in tribute to her father; watch it.

Toni Cornell , daughter of the late Chris Cornell , gave a special performance in tribute to her father last Thursday, the 16th, during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on the American channel NBC.

The 17-year-old girl sang “Nothing Compares 2 U,” a classic composed by Prince and immortalized in the voice of Sinead O'Connor. The track is featured on the cover collection No One Sings Like You Anymore Vol. 1 , a posthumous album by Chris Cornell released in December 2020. The work has just received a Grammy for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance .

Toni had already sung the song when, at age 12, he recorded a video singing it alongside his father.
